Added more images for sale to be purchased as prints to my shop on https://sryanbruenphoto.com/shop

Also fixed the SEO so should be much easier to search through the long list of images to find exactly what you want whether it's castles, lighthouses, beaches etc.

Composite!

The first image is a composite I made of the shot I wanted versus what I got in reality on the night of June 25th/26th 2026. I wanted to get lightning in between Baily and Poolbeg Lighthouses but it was too far to the right then the distant storm died off.

I note a lot of new followers recently. Hey and welcome to the page. This is who I am.

I am Sryan (you can call me Seán, my actual name, if you wish) Bruen. I am originally a huge weather enthusiast with a passion for weather most of my lifetime. In my early teen years, I became very sentimental about photos as return tickets to moments I can recall many years ahead. I started to collect and scan old family photos. I made two books of my own memories when I was 14 years of age around 2015. The weather during this period was largely benign in Ireland with not much going on.

Then in 2017-18, the weather started getting interesting again with a snowy winter including the Beast from the East and the drought summer of 2018 after. I had the idea to combine my growing interest of photography with my lifelong passion in weather. At the time I was only rocking an iPhone 7 so my photos were crap. This started a whole new journey which has shaped my life since. I got my first camera in November 2018 and then my first DSLR in August 2019 a week before going to Donegal which I loved. I did my Leaving Cert that same summer too.

I officially became an award-winning photographer in summer 2025 when I got first place in the Clean Coasts Love Your Coast coastal landscape category though I've won a handful of smaller competitions before that as well.

I am not nor have I ever been part of a camera club. I have been a solo rider throughout though I am open to collabs.
