Winter weddings definitely aren’t the “safe” choice here. But that’s exactly why they’re magic. Just like the magic sunset Nathalie & Connor got at the end of Nov.

2026 Couples, This is Your Year! 💍

Many of you are already on the ball arranging your pre-wedding shoots! I think I’ve replied to everyone, but if I’ve missed you, give me a nudge. If you’re still undecided or have changed your mind about wanting one, please reach out.

If you’re still on the fence and want some persuading, here goes:

* It’s the perfect chance for us to get to know each other—and for me to understand what you like and don’t like. You can experiment with poses, share ideas, and give feedback that’ll help make your wedding photos perfect.

* Pre wedding or engagement shoots are fun and relaxed - a special moment to enjoy before the whirlwind of your big day. With limited time for photos during the wedding, this shoot lets you come away with more photos of you together. They could even be displayed on the day or used for save the dates.

* Gives you a chance to incorporate sentimental places, hobbies, or pets!! that might not fit into your wedding day plans.

* You’ll know what to expect, feel more at ease, and cross one more thing off your list of wedding-day worries.

All pre-wedding shoots are complimentary with every wedding booking because I believe in their value that much.

I love seeing weddings shaken up slightly from tradition - days that feel more about the couple than the rulebook.

One of my favourite ways to do that? Favours.

Now, I’ll be the first to say that favours are absolutely not essential. If you’re saving the £s, I’d happily suggest skipping them altogether. But if you do have the budget and want to spend it on something meaningful and interactive, gifting books chosen especially for your guests is such a beautiful idea.

Just like me, this bride is a total book lover, so sharing one of her passions with her guests was such a thoughtful touch. Her husband also had a completely unique favour that reflected his own hobbies but I’ll share that in a separate post because it’s just as amazing.

So tell me… are you gifting something personal, sticking to tradition, or scrapping favours altogether? 💭
