In and around Flagstaff Viewpoint up in Newry. The scenery is unbelievable! Parts of the drive were idyllic old Ireland style with the fields boardered by rock walls, a few older cottages and no big towns in sight

Beautiful Chaffinch I captured out at Rathescar Lake. I had seen some flitting about out there before so this time I hoped to see one and I wasn't disappointed. I love the Sigma lens, have to shoot high ISO with it but it's worth it it to capture shots like these, allowing distance and space of trust for the birds
