Another year around the sun. 🤍

42.

And honestly, I don’t know how it’s possible, but time seems to be flying faster every year.

The older I get, the more I realise that life isn’t really about achievements, titles, possessions or anything material. It’s about people. The conversations that stay with you. The friendships that grow over years. The unexpected encounters that leave a mark on your heart. Even the people who cross your path only briefly can shape who you become.

Every person I meet teaches me something. Some stay for a few hours, some for a lifetime, but all of them become part of my story.

What fills my heart most is connection. A kind message. A warm smile. A meaningful conversation. A moment of understanding. These are the things that make me feel alive and remind me what truly matters.

Recently, I heard someone say that the world is made up of givers and takers. Whether that’s true or not, I know this: I want to be a giver. Not because I expect anything in return, but because kindness, generosity, and being present for others have always brought me the greatest joy.

Today, I feel deeply grateful.

Grateful for my wonderful husband, my soulmate, who walks beside me through all the doubts, dreams and challenges. Thank you for carrying so much, for supporting me, for making me laugh and for always being there.

Grateful for my three beautiful children, who fill my days with love, laughter, chaos, cuddles and memories I know I will miss one day more than I can imagine.

Grateful for my family, my friends & all wonderful families who have trusted me with their memories & every person who takes a moment to send a kind message, check in or simply be part of my life.

At 42, I don’t have all the answers. But I think I’m finally starting to understand what matters.

Love. Kindness. Connection. Time.

Thank you for being part of my journey. 🤍

As a first-time mum, I remember feeling like I had missed it.

Those first weeks with my boy were such a blur. I was tired, emotional, completely in love, and somehow the days just slipped through my fingers. Before I knew it, the tiny newborn stage was gone.

Looking back, I’m so grateful that I still took the photos.

That’s why I always tell mums not to worry if life gets in the way during those first days. There is still so much beauty to capture later on. ❤️

This gorgeous little boy was already a few weeks older, and I absolutely loved photographing him. The cuddles, the kisses, the curious little looks, those beautiful chunky cheeks… every stage is worth remembering.

And when I look at this lovely mum holding her baby close, I know these are the moments that will mean everything one day. ❤️

🌦️ If you wait for the perfect Irish weather, you might be waiting forever 🤍

One minute it’s sunshine, the next it’s clouds, a little rain, a rainbow and then a beautiful golden sunset. That’s Ireland for you and honestly, it’s part of its charm.

When planning an outdoor maternity or family session, I always keep a close eye on the forecast and we’ll decide together what works best. If needed, we can move the session to another day, enjoy a cosy studio session, or simply embrace the weather as it comes.

And honestly? I’m always up for a little adventure 🤍 I have rain covers for my camera, beautiful transparent umbrellas ready to go and I’m more than happy to pop on a pair of wellies and head out into the Irish countryside with you. Some of the most magical images happen when the weather isn’t quite perfect.

The truth is, the most important part of your session isn’t the sunshine. It’s you, your family, your connection, and this chapter of your life that deserves to be remembered.

So don’t let a few clouds stop you from creating beautiful memories. We’ll always find a way 🤍

Hello, hello 🤍

A little behind the scenes from my studio today.

Before every session, I take time to prepare everything carefully, from the baby outfits and mum’s wardrobe to the blankets, beanbags, props and a few little refreshments waiting for you when you arrive.

I want you to walk through the door feeling relaxed, welcomed and cared for, knowing that everything is ready for you so you can simply enjoy this special time with your family.

I also love getting to know you before your session, learning about your family, your little ones, and what matters most to you. It helps us connect from the very beginning and allows me to create photographs that feel truly personal and meaningful.

I can’t wait to welcome you to the studio soon 🤍

Are you still wondering if a newborn session is really worth it? 🤍

If your baby will cry the whole time…
If your partner doesn’t love being in front of the camera…
If you feel tired, nervous, overwhelmed, or “not ready yet”…

Please know, it truly doesn’t have to be perfect.

One of the things I love most about newborn sessions is watching new parents slowly relax the moment they walk through the door. Because everything is already prepared beforehand, you don’t have to perform, stress, or “know what to do”.

You simply get to slow down for a little while.
Hold your baby.
Look at each other.
Laugh together.
Celebrate this tiny new human you created 🤍

And while all those little in-between moments happen naturally, I’m there quietly guiding, supporting and capturing the most precious memories of this new chapter in your life.

We always take things gently and baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, breaks and simply going with the flow.

No pressure.
No rushing.
Just your family, exactly as you are 🤍

And honestly… these are often the moments that end up meaning the most years later.

If this feels like something you’d love for your own family, I’d absolutely love to welcome you into my studio ✨

Every First Holy Communion is such a meaningful moment in a child’s life ⛪️🕊️

A beautiful celebration of faith, love, family and togetherness. A day filled with emotion, proud smiles, little nervous moments, hugs from grandparents, cousins running around, families gathering around one table and simply being present with each other.

Beyond the beautiful outfits and celebrations, there is something deeply special about the meaning behind this day, a moment of blessing, reflection and growing up, surrounded by the people who love them most 🤍
I always love capturing not only the portraits, but also all those little in-between moments:
the laughter,
the conversations,
the proud looks from parents,
the tiny hands holding rosary beads,
the chaos,
the joy,
and the togetherness.
Because one day, these are the memories that will matter most.

I would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the families who trusted me to capture such a special day and allowed me to preserve and share some of these beautiful memories 🤍

ONLY 4 WEEKS until the summer holidays start here in Ireland 😅☀️

Which basically means…
10 weeks of loosing all routines, “MAMMMM LOOK AT THIS”, late sunsets, chaos, memories@and hopefully a little bit of rest somewhere in between 😂🤍

So just a little reminder, if you’ve been thinking about booking a maternity, newborn or family session this summer, make sure to check the “Book a Session” section on my website ✨

You’ll find all currently available dates there and if you can’t find something that suits you, just text me anytime. I’ll always do my best to make something work.

Loads of love and big hugs,

Because everything starts with that 🤍

That first look.
The moment you see each other for the very first time and something just clicks.

The first conversation.
The first kiss.
Walking hand in hand through the park with butterflies in your tummy, dreaming about the future without even knowing yet what beautiful things are waiting for you.

And then one day, out of all that love, comes a tiny little fagiolino 🤍

Growing quietly beneath your heart.
Becoming more real with every little kick, every scan, every tiny movement.

And suddenly, after nine months, there is a little person in your arms.
A sleepy yawn.
Tiny fingers.
The softest stretches.
Little details you never want to forget.

But life keeps moving so quickly.

There is the first smile.
The first time sitting up proudly.
First birthday celebrations.
First Christmas together by the tree.

And then suddenly… bigger milestones arrive too.
Christenings.
Communions.
New chapters.
Growing families.
More laughter, more chaos, more love 🤍

This is honestly why photography means so much to me.

Because life becomes busy so fast.
Days blur together.
And sometimes we don’t realise a season is passing until it already becomes a memory.

I love meeting families again and again through all those chapters of life.
From maternity, to newborn days, to family cuddles, Christmas memories and beautiful celebrations 🤍

Because there is always something worth remembering.
Always a story worth holding onto forever.

There are places, people and moments in time that never return in the same way again.

There’s an old Greek thought that says:
you never step into the same river twice.

And it’s true.

Life keeps moving.
We keep changing.
Love grows differently.
Children arrive.
Seasons pass.
Some moments quietly disappear before we even realise they’re gone.

And maybe that’s why photographs matter so much.

Not because life has to be perfect,
but because it was real.

Your bare feet in the grass.
The way he looks at you.
The quiet excitement before meeting your baby.
Your beautiful imperfections.
The softness.
The waiting.
The love already living between three hearts instead of two.

A maternity session is not only about your belly.
It’s about freezing a chapter of your story before life changes once again.

And places like Glendalough feel a little magical for that.

Foggy.
Rainy.
Golden.
Wild.

Always beautiful.
Always full of feeling.

Just like this season of life 🤍
