Some journeys are simply meant to happen — no matter the weather, the distance, the cold, or the chaos around us.
A few months back, together with the absolutely incredible Izunia, we set off on a little adventure to the breathtaking Giant's Causeway.
Months of planning.
Hours of travelling.
Rain pouring from the sky.
Freezing wind cutting through every layer.
Crowds of tourists everywhere around us.
And yet… none of it mattered.
Because sometimes the vision sitting in your heart is louder than discomfort. Sometimes creating art becomes something almost primal — raw emotion mixed with determination, trust, madness, and beauty.
Standing there, surrounded by the wild ocean and those ancient stones, watching Izunia move through the storm in that extraordinary outfit, it honestly felt unreal. Like a creature born from the sea itself. Powerful yet delicate. Fierce yet vulnerable.
These images feel very emotional to me.
There’s loneliness in them… but not sadness.
More like strength found in solitude.
Like someone learning how to belong to the storm instead of hiding from it.
The cold weather, the dark tones, the dramatic sky — everything came together exactly the way it was supposed to. Almost as if Ireland itself decided to become part of the story we were trying to tell.
And despite frozen hands, soaked clothes, and exhaustion after 6–7 hours of travelling altogether… I would do it all over again without hesitation.
Because this is what photography means to me.
Not perfection.
Not comfort.
But moments that make you feel something deep in your chest long after the shutter clicks.
Thank you Izunia, for trusting me once again and stepping into the wild with me.
Creating memories like this is something I’ll never take for granted. ✨
