Official photographer to DIY SOS The Big Build Ireland - Series 1 to 5. Hi, my name is Luke, I'm from the heart of Ireland but I live in Dublin with my wife Sinéad, our little girl Niamh and our little boy Jack. I've been a wedding photographer for 7 years and I travel between Ireland and the UK capturing those moments that make up that most special of da

ys. I love being a photographer, but I've not always been one. I went to art college to follow the dream I had of being a Graphic Designer, and that's what I did for many years. But my other passion in life is photography, a passion which stemmed from my college days when I had a manual camera and everything was developed in a dark room. Now I combine my skills as a Photographer and Graphic Designer to create beautiful, everlasting stories of the most special days and people in your lives. My style of photography is relaxed, a lot of what I capture on the day of a wedding is ‘off the cuff’. I move through the wedding party, sometimes seen, sometimes not, and photograph people when they are relaxed and enjoying themselves, to me it captures the true essence of the day. The end result is a storyboard of a joyful occasion filled with smiling faces and happy memories. A wedding is a celebration, and I like to capture that feeling from start to finish.

We're all set for the next instalment of DIY SOS in Kildare next week and I'm really looking forward to it! But before we do here's a look back to a few weeks ago in Limerick at some of the wonderful trades and volunteers who came together to make dreams come through for Carter and his family.

DIY SOS Kildare - ONE WEEK TO GO!

Site opens Tuesday 19th May at 8am for registration

📍EIRCODE - W91 EH60

🚗 PARKING
ALL volunteers must park in the field beside the build (head for eircode W91 EH60 at Baltracey Cross, Kildare). Please follow traffic management & DIY SOS signage on arrival.

💪 WE NEED YOU
Let’s make Day 1 count! We are finishing the home of Mona & Oran, and we need as many volunteers and tradespeople as possible from 8am Tuesday - and in the days that follow!

📝Registration will be on-site when you arrive.

👷‍♂️SITE SAFETY
This is a live construction site:
✔️Hard hat
✔️Hi-vis
✔️ Work boots
🚫 No PPE = no entry
(Limited PPE available for non-trades)

⚒️ TRADES please bring:
• Safe Pass
• CSCS card
• Relevant tickets (scaffolding, plant, abrasive wheels, etc.)

🍽️ FOOD & DRINK
Meals and refreshments will be provided on site

🚦Traffic management will be in place - just follow the DIY SOS signs and directions from stewards.
