Hi, my name is Luke, I'm from the heart of Ireland but I live in Dublin with my wife Sinéad, our little girl Niamh and our little boy Jack. I've been a wedding photographer for 7 years and I travel between Ireland and the UK capturing those moments that make up that most special of da

ys. I love being a photographer, but I've not always been one. I went to art college to follow the dream I had of being a Graphic Designer, and that's what I did for many years. But my other passion in life is photography, a passion which stemmed from my college days when I had a manual camera and everything was developed in a dark room. Now I combine my skills as a Photographer and Graphic Designer to create beautiful, everlasting stories of the most special days and people in your lives. My style of photography is relaxed, a lot of what I capture on the day of a wedding is ‘off the cuff’. I move through the wedding party, sometimes seen, sometimes not, and photograph people when they are relaxed and enjoying themselves, to me it captures the true essence of the day. The end result is a storyboard of a joyful occasion filled with smiling faces and happy memories. A wedding is a celebration, and I like to capture that feeling from start to finish.

Sometimes you get the opportunity to shoot a car whilst on another project, and the owner of this completely original Audi 80 cabriolet was more than happy to let me shoot away. It’s a lovely old thing, kept completely original by the owner, and I even had the opportunity to take it for a short spin! It sounded lovely, starting on the first turn. Such a rare and unusual colour too, possibly canary yellow? Many thanks to the owner for handing me the keys and letting me take photos.

I took the opportunity to photograph all the cars against some fantastic backgrounds, catching images of each one of these cars finer details. My weapon of choice for this trip was the Audi A5, a fantastic all round coupe with comfort, style and refinement, and a car well able to handle itself amongst a group of fine sports cars.
