Things that are overrated in Switzerland…. 🇨🇭

Literally NOTHING!

Switzerland is the dreamiest country we’ve ever been to and just being there is enough. Every part of the country we’ve seen, even the most touristy places are beautiful and CLEAN with so much to do!

Yes, Switzerland can be expensive, but all these places, even the popular and expensive Jungfraujoch is worth it!

Our one tip: Spend your money on experiences in Switzerland! Shop at grocery stores and make picnics to take with you!

We did a lot of shopping at Coop because it seemed to be the most convenient, but Aldi and Lidl are cheaper!

Do you think Interlaken, Switzerland is overrated?!

Because we don’t! Yes, it’s very touristic, but for a reason. It’s an easy central point to all the surrounding villages AND it’s in the middle of two of the bluest lakes I’ve EVER seen!

💦 Lake Thun + Lake Brienz!

We recommend taking the boat ride to Thun (the cutest Swiss town) and riding bikes around Lake Brienz. You won’t be disappointed by these views!

POV: You found the most beautiful National Park in Europe 🤩

We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon 📍 Durmitor National Park in Northern Montenegro! 🇲🇪 Honestly Northern Montenegro in general makes you feel like you stepped on another planet!

🚙 We took a weekend trip up from Kotor and it was only a 2.5 hour drive! Yes, you’ll need to rent a car as public transportation isn’t really a thing in most of Montenegro!

We visited in the middle of summer when it was 100 degrees in Kotor! Luckily it didn’t feel nearly as hot in the mountains! Plus, we got to swim in the beautiful blue lake 📍 Crno Jezero!
