Three countries. One thing in common.

I never properly realized how differently water could feel until I looked back at these photos.

In Iceland, it was loud and impossible to ignore. In Vietnam, it was calm enough to spend hours just watching the boats drift by. In Albania, it almost didn’t look real.

Funny how the same thing can look completely different depending on where you are.

Which one would you want to see in person?

Li River cormorant fishing at sunset was the shot I wanted most from Guilin, China - but getting it wasn’t … comfortable.

To frame this photo, I stood barefoot in the river. The water was absolutely freezing, and every pebble under my feet felt sharper with each passing minute. I barely noticed the pain once the sun lit up the fisherman and the cormorants.

Some photographs aren’t about being in the right place-they’re about staying there long enough.

Save this if you’re planning a photography trip to Guilin.

Three green places. Three completely different … fun … experiences.

🇯🇵 In Japan, I was running on almost no sleep after getting there way too early.

🇫🇮 In Finnish Lapland, I was freezing while waiting for the Northern Lights to finally show up.

🇻🇳 In Vietnam, the rain made sure I was soaked long before I got the shot.

Funny how the photos never show that part. They just make it look like everything went perfectly.

Which one do you think was worth it?

Lapland winter photography is unlike anywhere else. These frozen forests only glow like this for a few quiet minutes before the light disappears again. The silence was so complete that even the snow seemed to absorb every sound, leaving nothing but the crunch beneath my boots. Moments like this remind me that the best landscapes aren’t just seen … they’re felt. Save this for the day you finally experience a Lapland sunrise yourself.

Water! Ireland coast to Norway fjord and finally Hallstatt at blue hour - this is like moving through three different worlds.

The cliffs in Ireland were absolutely full with mosquitoes.
Norway disappeared into fog so thick the cabins looked painted into the mountains - sadly it only lasted 5 minutes.
Hallstatt … well it’s just beautiful haha.

travel photography isn’t always about chasing perfect weather. Sometimes the atmosphere tells the better story.

Wildlife photography is not always about the rarest animal.

Sometimes it is the tiny pause before a hummingbird disappears.
The monkey that looks straight through you.
The bird hiding in the leaves.
The sleepy face that somehow becomes the whole memory.

These are some of my favorite animal encounters from my travels - not because they were perfect, but because each one felt like a small „I was lucky“ moment
