Annagassan is a small coastal village in County Louth, Ireland. It sits where the River Glyde meets the Irish Sea and is known for its harbour, beach and peaceful countryside.

The village has an interesting Viking history. A Viking settlement called Linn Duachaill was established here in the ninth century.

Today, Annagassan is a quiet, scenic place, popular for its coastline, walks, fishing and local community atmosphere.

A short walk through the trees brings you to Gleno Waterfall, tucked away in a beautiful, lush glen. The paths and steps can be steep and slippery but the views are definitely worth it, especially after a bit of rain.

What an outstanding photo I managed to create!
I was inspired by a special photographer based in Dundalk and this was one of my first photographs using the app.
The final image is a blend of two photos: the first was taken in Blackrock in the morning and the second... three weeks later at midnight. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to make the second shot work but I decided to give it a try.
I even went back to my previous setup to check the exact position and height of my tripod, as well as the tile on the ground, so I could recreate the composition as precisely as possible.

It was a bit of an experiment, but seeing the two images come together made it all worthwhile.

Salterstown is a small, quiet coastal village in County Louth, near Annagassan. It sits along the shore of Dundalk Bay, with a strong rural character and lovely coastal views.
The area is also known for its traditional stone buildings and interesting local history.
