Annagassan is a small coastal village in County Louth, Ireland. It sits where the River Glyde meets the Irish Sea and is known for its harbour, beach and peaceful countryside.
The village has an interesting Viking history. A Viking settlement called Linn Duachaill was established here in the ninth century.
Today, Annagassan is a quiet, scenic place, popular for its coastline, walks, fishing and local community atmosphere.
