Maria of Kilkenny is not the only one in Kilkenny celebrating 60 years. Rothe House one of Olivers favourite heritage buildings in Kilkenny to photograph is celebrating 60 years open to the public. Congratulations to the Kilkenny Archaeological Society and thank you for preserving Rothe House for future generations to treasure just as much as we do. I'm sharing one of Olivers Iconic images.

I'm often asked what my favourite sessions to photograph are. I love all my work but I have to say I love little sitter sessions of babies who have just found their first little bit of independence . They love entertainment, are full of smiles and curiosity and their personality shines at this stage. Its the first big milestone.

To celebrate Maria of Kilkenny ( Oliver's) 60 years in business I am giving 10 families a complimentary studio session ( normal cost €100) and €60 studio credit towards a wall portrait ( total value €160) . This offer is for babies who can sit unaided up to 12 months old between 15th April 2026 and 15th June 2026, sessions will take place weekday mornings at the studio in High street ( other times subject to availability ).

Maria of Kilkenny ( Oliver's ) was established in 1966 by Oliver Dunphy my Father . He was joined by his Mother Eileen and then my Mother Noeline and subsequently me Maria . This year marks the 60th anniversary of photographing the people of Kilkenny and beyond. Follow along for some special offers to celebrate.
