Ben Millett Photography Irish Photographer based in Westmeath. Commercial, Landscape and Wedding photography. Hi, I'm Ben and I am a photographer based in the heart of Ireland, Co.

Westmeath. I specialise in wedding, landscape, and commercial / product photography. I have been taking pictures since 2003, when I won a national photography competition and realised that photography can have an impact. This is a place to show my work as a photographer, which includes landscape photography, wedding photography, and various other subjects. As a graduate of the National College of

Art and Design I have a diverse creative background. From being immersed in the creative environment of art college, studying industrial design and working in a photography studio at the same time I have a deep appreciation for creative arts spanning most disciplines and I enjoy being creative across various fields myself with my main creative passion being focused on photography and lately video creation. My degree in Industrial design has given me a disciplined and detail orientated approach to creative work and many of the skills are compatible across all fields. My approach to design and photography is similar in that I try to carefully represent my creative intent in my photography or design.

Arrived just as the light was beginning to fade. Had missed sunset and had a few lingering minutes of light to set up and get a few shots. Quickly found these rocks and climbed up onto one of them and looked out to see over these other nicely arranged structures. Quickly set up my tripod and adjusted the composition. The low light made it perfect for extending the shutter speed and capturing some motion and giving that nice milky texture in the water. No ND filters needed today. Captured on Ballymoney Beach in Wexford.

Coverage of the IPF Club Championships last weekend that I photographed. Amazing event, congrats to all involved.

Yesterday along side fellow club members from Mullingar Camera Club I was delighted to achieve my Licentiate Distinction in photography from the Irish Photographic Federation

Below is my submitted panel of photos along with the individual images. These were assessed by a panel of 8 judges, all Fellows of the IPF. It was great to hear the comments and remarks from the judges and for my panel to achieve the required level.

Congrats also to Aisling Aughey Photography, Rodney Clery and Noel Murphy who also achieved their L-Panels.

Last week I had the pleasure of working for St. Patrick's Festival to photography events across Dublin during the festival and covering the Dublin St. Patricks Day parade. Many photos I captured can be seen on the SPF page St. Patrick's Festival Ireland. Here I'm sharing a gallery of some of my favourite shots from the week.
