Time by the sea is always time well spent. Even if it's blowing a gale and your drone can just about sit still for a second. I'm trying to spend some more time in the air again. It has been a while and when I do get the chance it's normally for something else. I thrive on stormy days like this. Get the waterproofs on, wait for a break in the clouds and then pounce before you get caught in the next shower!! The majority of people absolutely hate it and that's ok too!! January can be bleak and I always try to have a look at the year ahead and start planning, then take a break before the madness starts again. Micro projects,..are they even things?! That's what I'm aiming for this year. Some personal micro projects. Anyway, enough of my ramblings! Here are a few images from Marble Hill earlier. The yellow lines really drew me into that corner as the tide was so far in. The clouds made a nice diffuser for the water too. .Enjoy the weekend 🤘🏼

Before the bells ring another year in, I would just like to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy New Year. 🥳🎉🎉🥳
An absolute rollercoaster of a year with so many fantastic moments. Eternally grateful for the opportunities that come my way, the amazing people I get to photograph and the fabulous venues that welcome me through their doors.

Thank you all for an amazing 2022 and I can't wait to see what 2023 brings.

Devin & Morgan. I had this idea when I visited Rockhill House previously that it might be cool to get a couple up in the corner window and light them up from inside. So just after the sun set and the party was about to take flight, I decided to ask Devin and Morgan if they would like a quick break and that I had a photo idea. After two very swift yes votes the next thing they knew they were dancing in the bridal suite and I was blinding them with a flash!! Anyway, the above is the result of what can be achieved in a 10 minute break. Whoever your photographer is on your wedding day, if they ask for just 10minutes of your time, give them the opportunity because it could turn out to be something special....and if the photo doesn't work...then you had a lovely 10 minute break together!!

My Story

Declan is a fun filled guy with a passion for photography. When he is not out shooting weddings, He spends the majority of his time roaming the beautiful hills of Donegal.

He first picked up a camera in his teenage years and shot anything from wildlife to landscapes. Nowadays he specialise’s in wedding and portrait photography in a discrete and documentary style, photographing weddings in beautiful locations such as Cape Town S.A, Tuscany, Italy ....and of course the best to last...Donegal!!

The Irish Times, Martha Stewart Weddings, One Fab Day and Top Gear are a few to name where his work has appeared over recent years.
