Not even storm Amy or protests could stop Ellen and Brendan tying the knot yesterday. It’s always an honour to be asked to capture someone’s big day but it’s that bit more special when good friends ask you. The weather certainly didn’t put a dampner on the day. The jokes, smiles and love just kept flowing all day.
A beautiful service delivered by Fr. Paul Thornton in the Chirch of the most precious blood in Cabra. And then on to The Maples Hotel, Drumcondra under the care of Patricia for amazing food and to dance the night away.

Ellen and Brendan, thank you for having me and I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

What a great day was spent on Saturday in the beautiful surroundings of The Station House Hotel conducted by Caroline and her great ten for the wedding of Maria and Darrell. Even the little drop of rain didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone. With a heartfelt ceremony delivered by Declan Reddy from Spiritual Ceremonies - Wedding Celebrants, Registered Solemnisers. With great food, and then dancing into the night with Blue Romantics Band - Love & Dance. Maria and Darrell. What a day it was on Thursday. In the beautiful Osprey Hotel for the wedding of Joanne and Karen. The details and all the extras put in to their big day did not go unnoticed by all. With a touching ceremony outside in the sunshine, to music in the courtyard for the drinks reception. Then beautiful food, which was finished off with a stellar perform from Dame Stuffy who had everybody including myself in stitches. Then dancing into the night with Live Wire. Joanne and Karen. I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

On Sunday I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Robyn’s and Darragh’s big day in the Glenview Hotel Wicklow. Not even the rain put a dampener on the mood of these wonderful people. They were both just happy and great fun from beginning to end. With a lovely ceremony in the hotel followed by drinks and great food, then dancing the night away with After Dark wedding band. Working alongside Ted from Lawlor Video Memories, Makeup Masters Debbie McAuliffe and Your wedding hairdresser, it was a great team for a great day.

Well what a day it was yesterday celebrating the wedding of Emer and Des. Working along side a great team, Ciara on makeup and Marina from Stylicious on hair duty and with Niamh and her wonderful team in the Radisson Blu St. Helen's Hotel, Dublin. With the temperatures hitting mid-high 20’s, we were off to St Kevin’s church on Harrington street, for what was a first for me, a full Latin mass. And then back to the beautiful Radison St. Helens for amazing hospitality and food that was out of this world. Afterwards everyone danced the night away to the talented sounds of The Controversial Allstars. There was no stone unturned to ensure that everybody had a wonderful day.

Yesterday saw me starting off close to home in Co. Louth for a lovely service from Fr.Brady in The Holy Family Church and then on to the superb surroundings of Johnstown House Hotel and Spa for amazing food and hospitality and then to dance the night away with the super talented The Seducers. From the the biggest to the tiniest of details, it was very obvious that a lot of time and effort was put in to make this special day stand out from any other. The weather really was with us yesterday. (I Really should rethink about black being my brand colour on days like this lol)
Amanda and Mark. You really pulled out all the stops for your big day. Thank you for picking me to capture your wedding day.

On Friday I had the upmost honour of shooting the wedding of Rachel and Sean.
With a lovely ceremony from Fr. Joe in Fethard and then on to Hotel Manila in Clonmel for some good food and and dance with the brilliant music from Supersoul Machine where everyone danced into the early hours.

Another beautiful day celebrated with 2 beautiful people in the lovely surroundings of Trim Castle Hotel where Michael and all the staff took great care of everybody there. After a very moving ceremony from Amy Browne anext a fine meal, everybody danced into the early hours to the music of the very talented The Enemies.
