When we're in the middle of newborn life, the days can feel so long

🍼Feeds
🧻Nappies
🧺Washing, etc etc, etc...

Trying to remember what day it is!

It's only afterwards that you'll realise those ordinary days are actually the days you'll miss the most.
Because in the fog of it all, week by week your little love is growing and changing rapidly.

Maybe that's why I love photographing this stage so much.

For an hour or so, you get to press pause.
Be in the moments.
Let it all soak in.
Documenting it so you'll always remember it.

And I think that's something every family deserves 🤍

Let's be honest, most Mammy's have hundreds of photos of their baby, but very few you're actually in 😔

And if you are, they're usually the quick ones taken by your partner while you're feeding the baby, half asleep on the sofa, or caught completely off guard 🫣

That's why I take care of the styling, the preparation and the guidance throughout your session.

Their happiest safest place will always be in your arms 🤎
Newborn photos don't have to mean perfectly posed, wrapped in bundles, manipulated positions or lots of outfits and colours.

Their natural little expressions, their little details. How they curl up on you, how their head fits in your hand.

How you were yourself at that time, all the ups and downs, the rollercoaster of emotions and adjustments that come with having a new little person in your life.

Your newborn images should always make you 'FEEL' every time you look at them.

And can you just imagine what these images will mean to your little love when they are older?

Imagine the love they'll feel seeing you hold them so closely, full of love and pride. Imagine how special these images will be to them 🤎

No matter how hectic life is with your newborn, making the time to capture these moments will always be worth it.

Before everything else, there was just us 🔥

The energy from this gorgeous crazy in love couple was incredible 🧡

With 3 small babies and running their own business, life is hectic. It's always important to take a minute for yourselves.

I always make sure to get just a few moments of parents together on their own during family sessions. It might feel a bit cringe 🫣 but it always worth it 🧡
