Up to now I have never looked for a booking deposit to reserve a time and date for a baby photo shoot as I would with a wedding photography booking. I always offer a choice of dates and times to suit the parents and when they give me their preference I put that date and time in my diary and block it off for them. I understand that a date or time may have to be changed for different reasons and I will always allow for changes when I have the time available. However due to the demand for bookings, from today the 14th of January a booking deposit of €25 will be required to book a baby or family photo shoot. Thanks. David McLean

Well I offer newborn baby photo shoots in the comfort of your own home and I can still do it with social distancing as there is no need for me to touch or handle your baby at all, I would just guide you in how to pose your baby and then take the photos from the right angles. All that you need is soft blankets, toys and any props that you would like to include. I can still capture all the special little details such as the little fingers and toes, the cute little expressions. The best part of all is that any other family members you would like to include can also take part in the shoot and the photos make great gifts for grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents etc.All my equipment would be disinfected before each shoot and I would be following all recommended health and safety guidelines.
