I'm excited to share that my painting, Apprentice from Brou I, has been shortlisted for the Salon des Refusés at Lethbridge Gallery, selected from more than 600 entries.

While it wasn't selected as a finalist in the Lethbridge Landscape Prize, being recognised in the Salon des Refusés is still an honour. It places the work among a curated selection of artists whose submissions stood out in an exceptionally strong field.

Apprentice from Brou I was inspired by time spent in Brou, France, where centuries of history, architecture and landscape continue to influence my practice.

If you've been following this body of work or have been considering adding one of my paintings to your collection, now is a great time to take a closer look. Recognition like this reinforces what first drew me to the work in the studio.
