I missed the big show on the 19th as I had to work nightshift but I gave it a try the following night. Because there was no certainty of Aurora appearing I decided not to travel too far and visited Garristown's windmill ruins. I spent few hours waiting for the sky to clear a bit and it finally happened. It lasted only 15 minutes but enough to take a couple of shots.
