Clare & Zeb — Ballintubbert House and Gardens, Co. Laois ✨

I actually met these two before one of them knew it. Zeb had a secret proposal planned in Dublin and asked me to hide in plain sight and capture the moment Clare said yes. So when the email came asking me to photograph the wedding, it was a very easy yes from me.

Their Irish-Pakistani wedding was everything I love about a summer’s day in the Irish countryside — an outdoor ceremony by the fountain, two cultures coming together, unreal food, plenty of Guinness, and craic that ran well into the night.

Ballintubbert Gardens and House is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in County Laois — 14 acres of gardens, an hour from Dublin, and a dream for a documentary wedding photographer.

Secret proposals don’t get much better than this one. 💍 Kourosh had been planning this for weeks, and Dublin gave us the most gorgeous golden evening light to pull it off. Kayla had absolutely no idea what was coming — and when Kourosh dropped to one knee, her reaction said it all. She said YES! We spent the next 90 minutes just wandering the Dublin suburbs together, soaking up the last of that beautiful light and celebrating two people who are so clearly meant to be. Congratulations to you both, Kourosh and Kayla — thank you so much for trusting me to capture this moment for you. Here’s to the next chapter! 🥂

There’s something special about couples who choose Ireland for a trip they’ll never forget. Kandi and Dan flew over from the States and wanted photographs they could actually live with — proper wall art for their home, not just files sitting on a hard drive. So we spent a gorgeous evening wandering the grounds of Malahide Castle, chasing golden light and castle backdrops, creating images they’ll walk past every day and be transported right back to Ireland. Honestly, evenings like this don’t feel like work at all. Thanks for a brilliant evening, Kandi and Dan! 📸

A Castle Durrow wedding for Lauren & David ☀️

Castle Durrow really turned it on for this one — one of those rare, properly hot and sunny Irish wedding days, and the castle grounds looked incredible for it. I genuinely don’t know where to start sharing this Castle Durrow wedding, there’s just too many good moments to pick from, so I’m dropping a random mix here — from the morning preps right through to the first dance. Might even have to follow up with another post.

Huge thanks to my second shooter Dena , who always knows exactly the right spot to be in at exactly the right time. Always a pleasure working alongside her on a Castle Durrow wedding day.

And great to team up again with the always witty, always brilliant Saulius from on the video side.

Special mention to Lauren’s two dogs, who sadly couldn’t make it to the reception but absolutely stole the show during bridal prep. Two very good boys.

Some Sunday mornings just hit different. ☀️

Frank flew in from the USA with one thing on his mind — and Howth Head delivered the perfect backdrop for it. Quiet cliffs, soft morning light, and Emma having absolutely no idea what was coming.

He got down on one knee, she said yes, and the rest is history. 💍

I always say the secret proposals are some of my favourite shoots — there’s a rawness to that first reaction that you just can’t direct. Huge congrats to you both, it was an honour to capture this one.

The ultimate Irish fairytale proposal 💍

When Robert reached out all the way from Florida to plan a secret proposal for Noël during their stay at Kilkea Castle in Ireland, I knew we were about to create something magical.

As a destination proposal and engagement photographer in Ireland, surprise proposals like this are my favourite moments to capture. We timed everything for the golden evening light at Kilkea Castle — and the rest is history.

A massive thank you to Robert and Noël for being the most brilliant clients and making this Irish castle engagement shoot an absolute blast. Noël never stopped laughing the entire session, which made capturing their love story effortless. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!

Secret proposals are always such a privilege to be part of 🤍 Brandon had been planning this for a while — he’d spotted some of my previous work up at Killiney Hill and knew straight away that was the spot. So we ran through the plan, got everything set, and when the moment came... Allison said yes! 🎉 We spent the rest of the evening wandering around Killiney Hill together, lovely light, happy tears, and some absolutely beautiful photographs. Riley & Kyle 🤍

What an evening in the Wicklow Mountains with these two! Riley and Kyle flew over from the States and honestly, the whole session felt like it was made for them — golden light, perfect conditions, and two people completely at ease in front of the camera. Moments like these are why I love what I do.
