4 days searching and the search pays off .
We found the elusive African treasure the Cuckoo.
Not 1 not 2 but 3 cuckoos in total happy enough to let us get close enough to photograph them with no hides , no camouflage, no food . Canon R5 & canon 500mm Mkii .

Just finished working on A presentation for camera club talks on MY kingfisher and Irish wildlife photography journey . Club talks has been something ive been asked to do a numerous amount of occassions but i declined every time as to feeling i was unprepared . Now i feel like the time is right. It’s not your conventional talk , it’s a journey on where it started and where I feel I am now , including some of the Irish wildlife photographers I admire and follow to equipment , to hide building and finding the animals .
