It’s been a while! And plus some.

Haven’t kept Facebook up to date, I’ve fallen to using Instagram more.

But still floating away, documenting in various forms.

In the midst of the rain and cold, thinking back to this beautiful summer wedding I had the chance to be a part of. Clodagh and Kavan, thanks for the opportunity to be there, and document. What a wonderful day.

I still have availability for some dates in 2023, along with 2024 of course! Please get in touch, and we can chat more ✨

Donna and Stephen got married in Nerja this past July. Thankfully, and gratefully, I was there to photograph their day!

It is an incredible location, with a wonderful atmosphere, and this transcended in to the day itself, creating a fantastic time full of great memories! I’m so happy that I was part of it.

Its the first time I’ve gone swimming the morning of a wedding, and hopefully it isn’t the last! I’m quite sure I can’t stress enough how available I am for destination weddings, so just a friendly reminder that I am!!! And I’ll extend that to weddings on Irish soil, as I still have some availability for 2019, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are looking for a photographer! Just drop me a message, or a call, and we can go from there :)

With all the summer weddings finished, and the photos delivered to each couple, I reflect, and look back.

Where better to start than the wedding that started the summer. Andreina and Barry wed at the beginning of June. The sky opened up at the beautiful Mount Congreve gardens that day, and it didn't rain for about 6 weeks or so after that.
It was both a beautiful and wonderful day, which commenced the summer and their married life together.

I'd like to say a thank you too all the fantastic couples who have booked me for their weddings, past and to the future. It has been a pleasure.

After some time and thought, I have released my photo book 'A new world | Sun | Sea | Beauty - Lisbon and beyond. It is available on blurb- http://www.blurb.com/b/8837169-a-new-world-sun-sea-beauty

I wouldn't mind, Ireland has been embodying Lisbon the last few weeks with its silky sunny days. A joy and peaceful pleasure to watch.

This photo series was created while I spent some time living in the city. It includes both photographs and text. And I will be honest, I am proud of it.

I went to Lisbon on sheer sporadic tendencies. And came back with more than I could have ever imagined.
People, places, events. It was phenomenal. And has bettered me as both a photographer and a person.

This is the first publishing of mine, and is the beginning of many.

Photography, you are beauty. And I grow to love you more and more every fecking' day.

I hope you get a chance to look at my book. It's a beautiful memento, a story of time, and the fissures it creates. A muse, for you to enjoy.

And of course, gather a glimpse of its magnificent contents, Lisbon and beyond. A city of dreams, and creator of lust. Streets of sound and colour. Every corner turning into another adventure. Each day a gift. The city you'll never want to forget.

Chelsey and Kyle came all the way from Illinois to wed with an intimate ceremony in Waterford castle. It was a stunning day, with the sun out, I've never seen the castle lit so well. It felt like a dream walking around the grounds.

Off they went to discover the rest of Ireland, newly married. What a beautiful way to both celebrate and start a life together.

Here are some photos from their day

I recently photographed the Coach House, both it’s original coffee shop and their all new ‘Pigeon Loft’.

They are both incredible spaces and well worth visiting!

It was a really interesting environment to photograph, and it was challenging to do it in a way that did it justice.

Check out their page Coach House Coffee to see more of my photographs!

A day of pure documentation.

Mary and Stephen's wedding took place in Moyvalley, Kildare back in March. A stunning venue- it was the perfect stage for the day to unfold upon.

Personal, meaningful, magnificent. My type of day. A joy to photograph.

Words are said to lose their meaning the more they are repeated, but when I say I love photographing weddings, I think it grows stronger with each mention. Each one is truly unique, and comes with it's own surprises and challenges.

I'll start sharing some more weddings that I have done recently. To give you a glimpse into their uniqueness from my perspective, and the wonders that ensue from a day of documentation.

Throwing it back, to Elaine and Mark, my final wedding of 2017, and a fantastic one at that.

Documentary photography is a passion of mine. I adore it. Whether it’s down some quite street of Lisbon, or a chilly afternoon awaiting the arrival of the bride. I am there- documenting, creating and enjoying.

Travelling has changed the way I approach documentary photography. Like a school in itself. It keeps the mind alert and ever-learning between weddings. A useful and powerful tool.

A photo book of mine from Lisbon is in the works. From initial glances, I must say, I love it. And I hope you will too. More to follow in the coming weeks.

I’m still taking wedding bookings for 2018, and of course 2019 and so on. If you would like to find out more information, please contact me. It would be my pleasure to talk with you in more detail. This is my passion.

The snow turned Dunhill in to something I’ve never seen or ever thought I would see. The valley ascended into the imagery of dreams. A blank canvas. Completely washed away in a sea of whiteness. Painted with trees and fences, nothing else. The river slowly slugged to a halt.

To see everyday scenes turned into something otherworldly was fascinating. A Spectacle.

The country stopped. And communities thrived.

With nowhere to be, all roads led to Harneys.

An incredible couple, a beautiful day. Jessica and Michael wed on a still winters eve.

Dunmore the location of choice, and a great one at that. One of the two more beautiful Dun's in Waterford. Dunhill being the significant other.

I was fortunate to be tasked with documenting the day, an enjoyable experience. One of which I truly love to do.

And I wish them both all the best, and thank them once again for giving me the opportunity to be a part of it.

I still have availability for bookings in 2018, so please get in touch if you would like to find out more! And 2019 of course!

Naomi and Ger, my first wedding of 2018, and what a start!

It was an incredible day. The low winter sun cut through the air, rays of light darted through the sky. It couldn't be recreated. Ballylaneen in its prime. Followed by a fabulous reception, a winter wonderland, down to every detail!

To watch them both gazing at one another throughout the day, a joy to photograph.

Here's to the rest of the 2018 weddings, may they be as blissful!

Taking a break after a busy Christmas, to Prague I go, continuing on the adventure.

I'm currently taking wedding bookings for 2018 and 2019, so please feel free to get in touch! I'm more than happy to answer any queries that you may have!
