I'm sorry to say but I'm leaving Facebook by the end of May 2023. Many thanks for all your support, but I'm finding I don't use facebook much on a personal or business level anymore and there is only so much time in a day to spend on social media (not that much!).

Excitingly, I will be opening a online shop on my website where certain select images will be for sale based on current, future and older adventures.

I have some really fun personal projects coming up down the line and I hope you can follow along, on instagram and on my website, where I will be creating a blog too to post updates and current work as they happen with the background.

I was on a cave excavation in North Cork, Ireland 1-15 April - my other part time job as a Research Scientist - and took a few photos of our adventures on site. I’ll post a few here but all can viewed in their gallery on my website (https://www.ruthcardenphotography.ie/11894141-2023-kilcolman-cave-co-cork).
The project is part of our overall collaborative research on human and animal relationships and dynamics in Ireland for past 50,000 years. We also investigate how Irish limestone caves form and by knowing these processes we can interpret the animal bones within them in better context, how did they end up where they were found within the cave passages.
