KOL kolyshev creative production Creative, photo and video production. Developing long-term social impact campaigns for non-profit organizations and commercial brands.

I’m a Creative Director and a film director with more than 25 years of experience in advertising. I was
shortlisted in Cannes Liones for Stroymaster and have won awards at Epica, One Show, Clio, Effie,
ADCE, Globes, ADCR, Red Apple, Golden Drum. Golden Hummer, Penta, Red Dot, Ad Black Sea, Silver Mercury and many other advertising festivals. In 2019 I founded Kolyshev C&D, a cause-marketing agency

, with a focus on developing long term social impact campaigns for non-profit organizations. In the past I managed the creative departments at Rapp, Ogilvy&Mather, TBWA and e:mg, establishing good relationships both with my team and our clients. As a film director I specialize in storytelling, humor, case video and viral content. I have a deep understating of creative strategy, a good sense of judgement and enjoy nurturing the skills and talents of my team, all of which has helped in creating inspirational
concepts for 360 marketing campaigns.

Got invited to direct films for an AI studio.

Interesting shift.

Not long ago everyone wanted AI to feel unbelievable.

Now the real magic is making it feel believable.

Two intense shooting days in Tel Aviv for an important social impact project supporting the Peace of Mind program, helping soldiers cope with post trauma challenges.

Proud of my incredible team. We work across the world creating stories that matter.

P.S. If your nonprofit or company needs a powerful video idea, a film, or a story told through cinematic language, feel free to reach out.

Since the chess games are fast, we have to shoot quickly, make thoughtful selects, and edit everything by morning.
That’s how Day 1 of the Jerusalem Masters turned out.

ChatGPT keeps praising my ideas,
so I decided to try some machine learning,
and wrote it an instruction: be toxic, nitpick, envy, argue even when it’s pointless, and most importantly, never admit that I’m right.

Now it confidently says my ideas lack logic, that the focus is blurry, the creativity is off the shelf, the insight is dull, and adds that even artificial intelligence could come up with something better.

It didn’t affect my mental health or the quality of my ideas.

But for the first time, I felt there was chemistry between us, and that I was finally talking to a living being.

If we all saw the world through the eyes of children, it would be a much better place.
Soon, I’ll be sharing a new and deeply inspiring project for a children’s hospice - a place where every moment truly matters.

It’s a good thing when an architect knows the value of 5-meter ceilings — that way, your salon in a historic mansion easily turns into a film set.

Just realized I’ve crossed 5,000 followers here on Facebook.
Not sure how or why — but hi. Glad you’re here.

I’m guessing you’re all very different — feminists, non-binary folks, strategists, accidental subscribers, and a few people who ended up here by mistake.

We were all the same once — in the delivery room: naked, screaming, with no declared identity. Then we scattered: some into startups, some into trauma, some into yoga, some into comment sections.

As for me: straight, married, three kids. I can do most things — except deliver babies.

I’ve been in the industry for 27 years.
15 of those in social impact work.
And for the past 5 years, I’ve been running my own cause-driven creative agency.

My identity? Just a person who actually works in their profession.

I create campaigns that give people goosebumps — or recurring donations.
Ideally both.

Right now I’m working on a campaign for a children’s hospice.
No violins. No tears. No moralizing.
Just life, light, a little mischief — and a lot of love.

In October I’ll have some time for 1–2 new projects —
for nonprofits or brands who see ESG not as a trend,
but as something truly built into how they think and grow.

At the agency, we’ve developed and implemented a method
for creating not just award-winning campaigns,
but long-term fundraising and educational projects with real social impact.

Some of them have passed 200 million views.
Not just thanks to me (though yes — I write and direct),
but because of the teams of brilliant, committed people
I’ve been lucky to bring together around each story.

Please don’t read this as passive aggression —
just a little professional self-identification,
in an era of 12-gender drop-downs and zero narrative clarity.

If you work in a nonprofit, foundation, or values-driven company — reach out, let’s talk.

And if you want to see some of my past work:
— The Choice (Naked Heart Foundation)
— Talking Objects (SOS Children’s Villages)
— Imperfect Mother (Solnechny Gorod)
— At the Limit — about parents who’ve experienced loss

I’ll drop a link in the comments.

Don’t scroll away just yet.
It gets better from here.
Especially if you’re someone who still believes that social advertising can truly inspire —
Without moralizing, but with feeling.
Without manipulation, but from the heart.
With real ideas — and no guilt included.
