Red-vented Bulbul

Identification: It has a black head with a short, somewhat square crest and a white rump that is visible during flight. Its long black tail is often tipped with white.

Adaptability: This species is highly versatile, thriving in gardens, forests, urban areas, and agricultural fields. It is considered one of the most invasive bird species in the world, having established populations in Hawaii, Fiji, and parts of the Middle East.

Diet: They are omnivorous, feeding on a varied diet of fruits, nectar, insects, flower petals, and occasionally small lizards like geckos.

Behavior: Known for a cheerful, bubbly song and sassy attitude, they are active birds that often assemble in large loose flocks, especially around fruiting trees.

Nesting: They build cup-shaped nests using small twigs and spider webs. While they typically nest in bushes 6–10 feet off the ground, they have been known to nest inside houses or even moving vehicles.

2nd is Black Drongo

Distinctive Features: It is an all-black bird with a notably long, deeply forked tail.

Behavior: Known for being fearless, this bird is sometimes called a "kotwal" (cop) in Hindi because it aggressively defends its territory and protects the nests of other birds from predators.

Habitat: They are common in open areas like farmland, forest edges, and fields across Asia.

The Local Pulse: Tourist spot se hatkar agar asli Agra dekhna ho, toh Sadar Bazar ki galiyan sabse behtareen hain. Yahan ka khan-paan aur raunak sirf locals hi sahi se samajh sakte hain.
