A little moment of being my own cheerleader today.
A photograph I captured of leading music artist and singer par excellence Benny Dayal and his wife, Catherine, welcoming their little one found its way into Bombay Times, one of India’s most widely read newspapers.
As photographers, we often stand behind the scenes, quietly documenting stories that matter. And sometimes, those stories find their way into places you never imagined.
Grateful to Benny and Catherine for trusting me with such a precious chapter of their lives, and grateful for moments like these that remind me why I do what I do.
And while that’s incredibly exciting, what makes me happiest is something else. I’ve always believed that every family I photograph is a celebrity. Every newborn, every parent, every growing family is living a story worth celebrating. So yes, seeing my work accompany the announcement of a beloved public figure’s newest chapter feels special. But the truth is, the same love, care, and attention goes into every single session I photograph 🤍
