The most unusual buildings in the world
Kunsthaus graz (graz, Austria)
The museum of modern art in graz was designed by British architects Peter cook and colin fournier. The latter described the bizarre building as a "friendly alien."
Kryzwy domek (sopot, Poland)
The house, also known as the little crooked house, is looked at as if through a crooked mirror. The architects were inspired by jan shanzer's illustrations for children's books.
Basket building (Ohio, USA)
The building was once the headquarters of longaberger, which also specializes in the production of shopping baskets. In 2020 "basket" after a long search for new owners was to be requalified to the hotel, but plans broke the coronavirus.
Bund finance center (Shanghai, China)
Metal facades - curtains are inspired by traditional Chinese theater and change their location several times a day.
Dancing house (Prague, Czech republic)
Some blaspheme the architect frank gehry's creation for being out of character in the city. However, this did not prevent the building, reminiscent of a dancing couple, from becoming one of the most famous in the world.
Valley (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
The idea of the project is to bring the natural component to the office-oriented district. The exterior of the complex is made of glass and helps to integrate organically into the business environment. Closer to the center, the glass block seems to crumble, turning into rocks surrounded by greenery.
