After ki Baat, the boy who cleaned was left to fend for himself

PM hailed Ahmad Dar as a national hero for cleaning Kashmir’s largest lake. Today, he lies bedridden, forgotten by the government that once celebrated him.

Preserving Kashmir's Gojri Heritage:

In north Kashmir's Aragam village, 28-year-old Shahida Khanam has established a thriving Kashmir Tribal Arts Society Museum (KTASM) in 2022. The privately run museum is deducted to Gojri-speaking Gujjar and Bakarwal tribes, and showcases donated treasures: silver *dolada* necklaces, handwoven *chader* blankets, *charka* spinning wheels, and soot-stained *tabakh* utensils on mud-brick shelves, labeled in Urdu and Gojri.
Shahid Khanam hiked remote hamlets, urging elders: "If you throw it away, you are throwing away your story." Linked to tailoring centers empowering 200+ women with embroidery and Gojri songs, it's cultural revival in action.
