Black and white has always felt like a quiet language I’ve wanted to speak more fluently.
For a long time, I’ve imagined documenting an entire commissioned architecture project purely in monochrome.
These are a few frames from a shoot for architect Anil Bhaskar originally captured in colour for his book, now revisited in black and white.
This morning, while going through the works of Raghu Rai, I found myself pausing more than usual. His images have always had a way of staying with you quiet, powerful, timeless.
It’s a strange kind of loss… someone you may not have known personally, yet whose way of seeing quietly shaped your own.
Rest in peace Legend 🤍🕊️. Your work will continue to inspire generations and live on in many hearts.
Maybe this is just a small, personal response to that influence.
A reminder of how light, shadow, and form can still say enough.
