My journey into photography has had a few shades and has today led me to what I am today. My tryst with photography started in my early teens with a Nikon SLR that my father had. What ailed me during this period was the aid of a kit lens that i had at my disposal to capture the scenic landscape. As i grew out of my teens and jumped into my adventureous self, I upgraded to a Semi-SLR camera which t
oo over a year, limited the creativity. It was time for another upgrade of the camera as I started getting closer to wildlife photography. I spent long hours understanding the use of cameras and peripherals. And this path led me to another upgrade to a Canon 7D and few Pro lenses such as EF24-70; EF100-400. As I started spending more time on the wild front with friends, i was taken into their happiness and peace in the wild. Slowly but quietly I put additional efforts to capture these memorable moments which involved a patient approach for every frame. The importance of harnessing these moments was very evident when i started sharing these with my friends. The feedback, the story, the encouragement and the photos - all have together helped me in pursuit of my journey as a photographer. A clear advantage that i boast of having is the ability to capture the right frames while keenly and patiently awaiting for the right moments.
