What Grid Motorsports would like to do is build a healthy culture that promotes our ever growing love for machines and at the same time encourage and promote ethical and safe driving on public roads by
hosting motorsport events such as races , auto shows and awards . A complete package that involves unique automotive experiences that integrates motorsport excellence and discipline throughout. Our first event this year would be Grid'd Hot Lap in May at Meco Kartopia, hennur-bagalur road, bengaluru . The participant completes one timed Hot Lap around the full 1.2 km track . The competition will be held in accordance with various classes based on cubic capacity(cc), fuel Type and performance based modification. A timed event is a more composed form of racing where only a single car will be allowed on the track which rules out rash driving, misjudged overtaking maneuvers and the possibility of collisions. Hence, it is a safer, purer and civilized form of motor sport where one can just work on his/her driving lines and can better understand the vehicle being driven. Anybody with a valid FMSCI license and a properly conditioned car can take part. This event is bringing motor sport’s to those who couldn’t have comprehended driving a car on the track just for the sake of knowing what it feels like because of it’s inaccessibility and expensive nature. Driving on a track gives you an unmatched thrill and it’s ability to just demand 100% of your focus for those precious minutes when you just become one with a machine is awe-inspiring. It can be easily assumed that 99% of us wouldn’t have a racing license hence ,we provide all our participants with a one day racing license which is FMSCI approved for a nominal fee.
