For Mun Concepts, a singer songwriter from Changsari, Assam, music began as a simple dream during her days as a student, when she first picked up the guitar and imagined herself as both a vocalist and a storyteller. Over time, that instinct grew into something deeper. Encouraged to channel her overthinking into something positive, she began writing stories that eventually turned into music video concepts. Her first major work, Mukoli Puwa, was rooted in her own life, telling the story of a schizophrenic girl. From there, she continued creating emotionally layered projects like Charm, Sinaki, and Alag Si, blending themes of love, imagination, struggle, and hope. Inspired by her father, who was also a musician, she explored multiple genres ranging from EDM pop to soft rock and synth pop, shaping a sound that reflects both her personal experiences and creative vision.
Her journey hasn’t been easy. Early on, she faced serious setbacks, including losing control of her songs due to distribution issues and being underestimated because of her age. But instead of stepping back, she took control of her craft, learning from those experiences and refining her work with each project. Today, she writes her own songs and conceptualizes her music videos, steadily building her identity as an independent artist. Looking ahead, she dreams of creating a full-fledged musical film once she achieves financial stability. For now, she continues to experiment through music videos, using platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Spotify to share her stories and connect with listeners who resonate with her journey.
