Dhole, the Asian Wild Dog. Watching Dhole early in morning was a pleasure. Dhole is a highly social animal, living in large pack without rigid dominance hierarchies. Such pack are usually consist of 12-20 individuals. It is a diurnal pack hunter which preferentially targets medium- and large-sized ungulates. Dhole competes with tiger and leopard in the forest of South India, targeting somewhat different prey species, but still with substantial dietary overlap.

Halebidu temple, is a 12th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and sponsored by King Vishnuvardhana of the Hoysala Empire. This beautiful temple was twice sacked and plundered by the Muslim armies of Delhi Sultanate from northern India, and the temple and the capital fell into a state of ruin and neglect. The Hoysaleswara temple is a Shaivism tradition monument, yet reverentially includes many themes from Vaishnavism and Shaktism tradition of Hinduism, as well as images from Jainism.

Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, is a wildlife reserve near Mysore, Karnataka. Part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, the park is backed by the Brahamagiri Mountains and filled with sandalwood and teak trees. The Kabini River winds through jungle landscapes, home to tigers, Asian elephants and a variety of birds. A wonderful ecosystem.

Indian Roller - Found widely across tropical Asia from Iraq eastward across the Indian Subcontinent to Indochina and are best known for the aerobatic displays of male during the breeding season. Several states in India have chosen it as their state bird, including Karnataka.
