After many attempts, I managed to capture this tiny and extremely fast bird on my camera using just a 55-250mm lens at f/5.6, shutter going off at 1/2000 second.
The Barn Swallow is known to fly at 15-20 m/s and prefers an open country land/ grassland habitat. It is hyper active most of the times, I consider it rare to find this bird perched.

While scrolling through the archives of my recent trip to Tadoba, I found this and straight away, a verse from a song that is doing the rounds struck my head, so here it goes:

Hanuman Langur, Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve May 2014

Maya- 3 year old Tigress who holds a primary territory called Pandherpauni in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.

Status: In a complicated relationship. Said to have affairs with The male of Katezhari and a Tiger named Gabbar.

Maya is known for her grace and long duration catwalks. Tiger Purists state her to be one of the most beautiful tigresses of the country.
She is often seen around the Tadoba lake. the jungle's tiger count would rise minutely in the next 30 days or so as she is pregnant.

Thanks to all those poses she gave, My tiger portfolio just got better. Long Hail MAYA!
