Whispers of a new season. 🌿

Watching these tiny green buds emerge is a beautiful reminder that even the smallest beginnings hold the promise of something great. Nature’s quiet strength is finally waking up. 🌸✨

Sibling rivalry in plants isn't about open conflict but rather a form of subtle competition, or even cooperation, for resources like water and nutrients. Unlike with strangers, plants recognize siblings through root exudates, adjusting their growth to be less aggressive, developing shallower roots and more intertwined leaves. However, a different form of sibling rivalry exists at the seed level within a fruit, where competition is more direct and genetically driven, leading to variable seed development and even "siblicide" or "kin rivalry".
