Here's a simple tip about photography which can make a photograph look better!

Below are 2 images shot from the different angles, now the reason the 1st image looks better than the 2nd is because of the way it is composed, a basic photography rule known as the rule of thirds has been applied in the 1st image to make it look more interesting.

Rule of thirds is basically placing an object on either of the sides of the frame rather than placing it in the middle which make it appear more pleasing.

There is a more specific way of placing it rather than simply moving it to either of the sides, now imagine the frame being divided into nine equal rectangles by four intersecting lines (as shown in the 3rd image), placing the main subject near any one of the circled area would make an image more attractive!

The reason this rule is important in photography is because our eyes generally tend to pay more attention to an image when placed among one of the intersecting points or the circled area as shown in the 3rd image.

P.S. i will be posting couple of images associated with this rule so that you can get a better idea of rule of thirds.
