All Goa Photographers and Videographers Association celebrated its 8th Founders Day on 25th October 2023 at Silver Bells Sangolda Goa. Continuing its policy of Felicitating the Senior Photographers of Goa this year also AGPVA Felicitated 6 Photographers from all over Goa who has made noticeable Contribution in the field of Photography namely, Shekhar M. Nagde (Mangesh Photo System,Mapusa), Mahendra M. Dessai ( Dessai Photo Studio, Sanvordem),Manoj M. Dessai (Dessai Photo Studio, Quepem), Manoj Mandrekar (Nishad Photo Studio, Siolim), Sharad Bagkar (Photo Vision, Vasco and Dinesh Naik (Zoom Photo Studio, Sakhali). at the beginning AGPVA Secretary Mr. Sachindra Naik welcomed all the guests and Mr. Viraj Naik (Artist) graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Felicitated the Senior Photographers. ALso Present on the dais were AGPVA President Mr. Dildar Madgaonkar, Vice President Mrs. Janhavi Shet Fadte and Treasurer Mr. Sanjay Nagde.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest asked the photographers present to bring out their best and showcase their talent to the public. He also Suggested that association organise an exhbition to display the work of its photographer members so that the members try to give their best and utilise their talent to the fullest. The felicitating Photographers also shared their experience and gave useful advice to the photographers present.
The program concluded by honouring the Chief Guest with the Memento and Cake Cutting Ceremony. The Secretary Sachindra Naik proposed Vote of Thanks and Thanked each and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. he also thanked the sponsorers for their kind sponsorship.

Pro Lens Ventures organised a One Day Photography and Cinematography workshop by renowned Mentor Mr. Dipak Vaghela from Gujrat. It was well supported by companies like Godox, Nisi, Sigma, Ben Q , Moza and All Goa Photographers and Videographers Association (AGPVA). The Workshop started with the lighting of the traditional Lamp by the Mentor Mr. Dipak Vaghela, present on the dais were Mr. Badri Narayan from Pro Lens Ventures, AGPVA Vice President Mrs. Janhavi Fadte, Secretary Mr. Sachin Naik and Treasurer Mr. Sanjay Nagde.
The workshop was attended by the photographers from Goa as well as the neighbouring state Maharashtra.
Mr. Vaghela explained in detail the importance of lighting in photography and the various techniques of shooting with available light and using the latest lighting equipments and gadgets. He further demonstrated the use of different lenses and lighting equipments for different situations with the Model Shoot Session and presented a slide show about the technical aspects in photography and Cinematography. He further guided the participants on the latest trends and marketing techniques to improve the photography business. Companies like Godox took part in the workshop by displaying their range of lighting products, Sigma had their lenses on display, Ben Q had their Monitors designed specially for editing purpose, Nisi with their Filters and Moza with their range of Gimbals were also present which received a good response from the participants.

All Goa Photographers and Videographers Association (AGPVA) organised a Workshop on Lighting Techniques on 9th January 2023 at Panaji Goa. The workshop was supported by Photographers Welfare Association of India (PWAI) New Delhi. Renowned Mentor Mr. Anoop Guha guided the participants and taught them the art of Lighting Techniques in Photography. He also imparted knowledge and practically taught the importance of Lighting and demonstrated how to use the available light and gadgets in any event. The participants appreciated the Mentor and AGPVA for the knowledge they gained from this workshop and voiced that such workshops should be organised on regular basis.
Earlier in the day AGPVA President Dildar Madgaonkar welcomed the Mentor Mr. Anoop Guha and Mr. Manish Shah, Secretary of Dhanbad Association. The workshop concluded by distributing the Certificates to all the participants and Vote of Thanks by Secretary Sachin Naik.

All Goa Photographers and Videographers Association team presented a memorandum to the Dy. Collector of Mapusa, Bardez, North Goa requesting for permission to allow Photographers and Videographers in the state to travel without restrictions during the lockdown period for photo shoots for the coverage of weddings and other events in the state . AGPVA President Mr. Dildar Madgaonkar along with the Treasurer Sanjay Nagde, Joint Secretary Rohan Divkar and members Sitaram Nagde and Shamiulla Sayyed presented the memorandum to the Dy. Collector Mr. Kapil Fadte and assured him that all SOP's and Covid-19 guidelines issued by the govt. will be followed by the association members. The President further informed the Dy. Collector that the association members had suffered huge financial losses due to cancellation of events and no work during the lockdown last year.
This year season had started and everyone was hopeful of good business, but, unfortunately Goa had to go under lockdown again and there is a sense of fear that this season also will go in lockdown without any business. The Dy. Collector gave assurance of finding some solution to the problems faced by the photographers and Videographers while going and coming from photo shoots late night during lockdown.

AGPVA celebrated its 5th Founders Day on tuesday 20th October 2020. A Trek was organised at Fort Aguada Sinquerim. Thereafter a Cricket Tournament was organised for the members of the association. Large number of members attended and participated in both the events. Cricket Tournament was played among Four Teams, Margao Monsters, Bardez Bulls, Vasco Fighters and AGPVA XI. After very exciting and nail biting finishes the Bardez Bulls won the Finals and won the 1st AGPVA Founders Day Trophy and Runners Up Trophy was bagged by Vasco Fighters. Following prizes were declared.--

Best Batsman - Sanjay Nagde.
Best Bowler - Govind Patil.
Best Fielder - Komal Sahani.

Cake cutting ceremony was held to mark the completion of 5 years of the Association. All the members enjoyed the event as everyone was meeting after a long period and photography business has been affected for the past 8 months due to Covid pandemic. It was like a Refresher for everyone just before the start of a new Season and everyone hoped for a wonderful season ahead.

A Blood Donation Camp organised by All Goa Photographers and Videographers Association along with Zest Youth Club Porvorim supported by Gomantak Pragati Manch on 1st May 2020 at Sanjay School Porvorim. The Camp was Inaugurated by lighting of the Lamp by the State BJP President Shri. Sadanand Shet Tanavade also present on the occassion were Mr. Guruprasad Pawaskar, Chairman Sanjay School, Smt. K***a Chodankar, BJP Mandal President,, porvorim. Mr. Mangesh Kotnis President Zest Youth Club, Prasad Mapari, Secretary and Gaurav Asnodkar Treasurer. Mr. Uday Vengurlekar President Gomantak Pragati Manch, Mr.Akash Gaunekar Secretary and Mr. Sushant Gaonkar Treasurer. Mr. Dildar Madgaonkar President All Goa Photographers and Videographers Association, Mr. Sachindra Naik Secretary and Mr. Sanjay Nagde Treasurer. Also present on the occaassion were Mrs. Sheru Shirodkar Member Secretary Sanjay School.

Earlier AGPVA Secretary Sachindra Naik welcomed and introduced the guests. Speaking on the occassion the Chief Guest Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade Shet congratulated all the three organisations for organising the blood donation camp in this time of pandemic and lockdown wherein there is shortage of blood in the hospitals. he further said that although there are no positive cases in goa the people need to take care in coming times, following the guidelines by the govt., maintaining social distancing, wearing mask etc. He further asked all the three organisations to initiate a drive to make awareness of Covid 19 in the villages and distribute masks to the people because wearing masks will be a lifestyle in near future. The Medical team of GMC was headed by Dr. Sanjay Korgaonkar assisted by, Poonam Ghatwal MSW, Gautami Gawas MSW, Emelia Pereira Staff Nurse, Shweta Gaude Jr. Technician, and Pandurang Gaonkar Attendant. All together 77 donors participated and donated blood on the occassion. A special standing ovation and clapping of hands was given in appreciation to the frontline warriors, the Doctors and Nurses who are fighting the Covid 19 restlessly day and night. Dildar Madgaonkar concluded with vote of thanks.

The Managing Committee of All Goa Phographers and Videographers Association met the Chief Minister Shri. Pramod Sawant and presented a letter mentioning the difficulties and problems faced by association members and all Photographers and Videographers of Goa as a whole. A special graphical presentatation with statical data was shown to the CM to highlight the overall situation and condition of effects of lockdown on our members in this critical times of crisis. Other business will start after the lockdown. But, the team expressed concern that unless and until permission for social gatherings and events is given the photography and videography business will continue to bear huge amount of losses. As it is usually the photography business is seasonal and starts after Diwali till end of May. than there is very little or No business in the rainy season. It will be very difficult for the photographers and Videographers to meet their daily needs who are already burdened with loans for purchase of high end Quality Equipments, Housing, Business loans etc.. The association looks forward to the government for help and support in this difficult times.
