I maximize to the theory of living life to the fullest no matter what I do in life or where I live. I have an independent mind and want to live life in my own terms. eresting and attractive tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh. Chamba town stands on the banks of river Ravi. Chamba is the land of lord Shiva and is famous for its virgin natural beauty. With its verdant valleys, pristine beauty and picturesque locations Chamba is a haven for tourists round the year. Chamba comes under the Sub-Himalayan range of mountains and with its myriad and unique flora and fauna, pleasing climate and lot of tourist’s destination holds an earthy charm for the visitors. Though Chamba is known for its pleasing climate throughout the year during winter season is beautiful and romantic with its snow-clad peaks. I done my B.E in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Trekking is my passion; it gives me the energy and the strength to pull on life with all its pulls and pressures. I am basically a lonely trekker, who likes the solitude that comes with being alone with the nature in all its beauty, grandiosity, splendor, surprises, curiosity, challenges and excitement. Being an introvert I communicate with nature in my own way and nature responds to me in its unique way. That is why every trek I undertake rejuvenates me, filling with the required vigor and strength. I just want to trek and explore new terrains and savour every moment of exhilaration that comes with such adventure. My father was an avid trekker and I was exposed to the nature’s healing touch at a very young age when I accompanied my father during his trekking expeditions. The early exposure kindled the spirit in me as a child to explore and hunt for places where one could be one with nature and enjoy her unlimited bounty of beauty and amazing qualities. The chirping of birds, the sound of flowing water, the beauty of the white snow, the snow-clad sky-kissing mountain and peaks gives me a bone-throbbing chill and thrill which I relish the most. The joy one experiences of reaching the destination is something that is irreplaceable. I am drawn to the nature in a way that is beyond explanation. I need to undergo this experience at least twice a year and the cathartic effect is like a tonic - enough to keep me joyful and happy-go- lucky for the entire year. Being from Himachal I am fortunate to undertake some of the challenging treks in the Himalayan region, going to places normally others fear to tread. It really gives me a high and that is not greater joy for me than the one I get when I charter through these terrains, sometimes losing my way but never giving up hopes. I am a positive person and believe in myself and many a time self-belief has been my greatest strength. Adventure is part of my life, it is in my blood, it is my passion, it sustains me and keeps me on tenterhooks, and I eagerly look forward to for the next expedition as soon as I finish one. I am a budget trekker and save the pocket money I get to indulge in my passion with gusto. The expeditions I undergo are easy on the wallet and I need not worry too much on that front. I would be happy to share my experiences to those who want to know more about pursuing trekking as a passion. Note :- We Provide Free of cost Trekking Assistance in Himalayas.. Churdhar Trek : For trekkers wanting to enjoy nature in its pristine form and are religious, Churdhar, the offbeat mountain destination, offers a unique combo of faith and adventure. Churdhar is located in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh and is famous for the Churdhar Peak, the highest peak in Shivalik Himalaya ranges at 12,000 feet. Churdhar is snow-covered in winter and is even visible from Simla. It has a pleasant climate in summer which makes it an all-time destination to find favours with adventure seekers. Summer and early winters are said to be ideal for trekking in the snow-filled areas of Churdhar. Known once upon a time as Chood Chandhni, Churdhar is an ideal Camelot with its picturesque locales and mythological importance. According to mythology, Bhima’s grandson Barbareek is said to have witnessed the Mahabharata war from the highest peak at Churdhar which is about 12,000 feet above sea level. Legend has it that Barbareek had vowed to fight on the weaker side in the war. Sensing danger, as Barbareek was said to be mighty beyond most warriors Krishna granted him a boon of invincibility from Shiva and kept his beheaded head on the summit of Churdhar. He also granted him a boon that he would be worshipped in Kaliyuga. Finding your way through this trek is easier during the season as there are a lot of pilgrims going to the top. The initial climb to the jungle is steep but then it’s more or less trekking on a level forest turf. It is quite a challenging track to treat and the scenery enroute is quite breathtaking. A two-hour drive from Solan takes you to Raigarh, which is also the midpoint of the journey. Trekkers can view the beauty of the famous terraced fields and orchards, which is sheer feast to the eyes. If the sky is clear the peaks of Churdhar can be viewed from Raigarh. The actual trekking begins at Nauharadhar which is a small hamlet full of tea stalls, catering mainly to the tourists. Soon the scenic beauty of the green forest, the sounds of the chirping birds and breath of fresh air greets the visitors. After treading a hour and half one comes across the lush green level ground called Jamnala which is surrounded by thick green foliage and is quite soothing and exhilarating. The trek from Nauharadhar to Teesri takes another three-hand-half hours and the next destination is Bhimkhanda. The summit of Churdar can be clearly seen from this spot. Trees are scarse in this path and the temple can be sighted after an hour’s walk. From December to April there is heavy heavy snowfall in this peak and the temple remains close. Pilgrims who are interested to visit the temple are advised to visit the place from May to November. It is also advisable to avoid a visit during the rainy season as mist and clouds can be spoilsport, blocking the scenic beauty of the area. The mist becomes so thick visibility is reduced to a few meters.

Bijli Mahadev is one of the sacred temples of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of about 2,438 m in the Kullu Valley. Bijli Mahadev is one of the excellent temples in India. Located 10 km from Kullu across the Beas river, it can be approached by a difficult but rewarding trek of 6 km.
A panoramic view of Kullu and Paravati valleys can be seen from the temple. The 60 feet high staff of Bijli Mahadev temple glistens like a silver needle in the sun.
In this temple of lightning it is said that the tall staff attracts the divine blessings in the form of lightning. It is believed that the priest of the temple has to restore the Shiva linga placed inside the temple using butter and sattoo after every lightning as it shatters to pieces with flash of lightening.
