White-browed bulbul (Pycnonotus luteolus)

🇩🇮🇩 🇾🇴🇺 🇰🇳🇴🇼:
Found in scrubby habitats, gardens, and woodlands with dense shrubs.

Mostly frugivorous, eating fruits, berries, flower nectar, spiders, and insects. Their diet helps disperse seeds and spread plant life.

These birds are usually seen in pairs or small groups that sometimes join mixed-species foraging flocks.

They forage mainly by gleaning, capturing insects (mainly caterpillars, bugs and beetles) that are disturbed and will also feeding on buds and fruits

Malabar Pit Viper (green morph)
The Malabar Pit Viper (Trimeresurus malabaricus) also know as Rock Viper, is a master of camouflage. Endemic to the Western Ghats of India, Malabar pit vipers are nocturnal snakes.

This particular individual was stationed on this leaf for about 8 hours. It will often curl in an S-shaped position along the branch of a tree, ready to strike its favourite creatures such as frogs, geckos, lizards or young birds

The Bengal monitor can reach 175 cm with a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 75 cm (30 in) and a tail of 100 cm (39 in).

Heavy individuals may weigh nearly 7.2 kg (16 lb)

It have keen eyesight and can detect human movement nearly 250 m away.

It has been considered as the wet-zone counterpart of the dry-zone white-browed bulbul.
About a week is taken for building the nest and the eggs are incubated for about 13 days.
