Swetha and Ajay carry a quiet elegance through the day. Nothing feels forced. From the way they stand with each other to the ease in their portraits, there’s a natural comfort that comes through. Swetha, in particular, holds a strong presence. The saree, the jewellery, the way she carries it all feels detailed, traditional, and effortless at the same time.

The rituals unfold in a space that complements it all. Miththam brings in a certain warmth, from the florals and textures to the way everything is laid out with intention. The decor doesn’t overpower, it supports. It allows the ceremonies, the movement, and the people within it to feel complete.

Somewhere through all of this, it reaches the people around them.

And when it settles, it comes back to them again, in the quiet, in the portraits, just as they are.

Sibling’s Day.

Aditi and her brother, Aruthra.

He started singing for her, and somewhere along the way, his voice gave in.
She walked up, held him, and for a moment, everything just paused.

You could feel it. The weight of it.

Priya & Shreyas 🤍

Sometimes the most meaningful feedback doesn’t come as a review.
It comes as a voice filled with emotion.

Priya and Shreyas sent us a beautiful audio note after their wedding, sharing how the experience felt for them and how Picturemakers became a small but important part of their journey through those days.

This video brings together a few moments from their wedding, photographs, memories, and their own words in the background. Because beyond the films and images, what stays with us most is how people felt while living those moments.

Grateful for the trust, the warmth, and for letting us tell your story the way it deserved to be told.

A special thank you to for the thoughtful planning and beautiful decor that made this celebration come alive. 🤍

Sandhya & Kartik

A few years back… but honestly, this still feels like yesterday.

It was a beautiful morning.
Soft light. Quiet air.
And yet another series where nothing is posed, as usual.

Just two people, sinking into the moment.
Laughing mid-sentence.
Leaning in without thinking.
And somehow making a small corner feel like their whole world.

We still remember the warmth of that day… the silhouettes, the sun flares, the way they kept finding each other even when they weren’t looking.

So here’s the throwback.
Still fresh…. Still full of feeling.

ARUN + MIRUTHULAH, CHENNAI

Some weddings are loud in the way they look.
This one was loud in the way it felt.

Arun and Miruthulah are the kind of couple who don’t perform love.
They just live inside it.

The portraits felt like soft pauses between all the beautiful chaos.
A smile caught in a corridor.
A glance held a little longer than usual.
A frame within a frame, like the world was outside… and they were safely inside their own.

And then the wedding took over.
Garlands flying, rose petals raining, people cheering, families pressing in close.
That kind of crowd where you can’t hear one voice… only emotion.

But even there, they found each other.
Again and again.

That’s what we loved most about this day.
How the calm and the celebration weren’t opposites.
They were both true.
Just like them.

Raji and Reece’s wedding at the beautiful Rina’s venue felt less like an event and more like a gathering of worlds. Two families, two cultures, one long, laughter-filled day where everything slowly found its rhythm.

There were quiet moments. Hands held. Eyes searching for each other in the middle of rituals. And then there were moments where the room simply burst into joy. Petals in the air, friends cheering, people forgetting to be guests and becoming part of the story.

One of our favourite frames from the day is Reece and his gang, proudly wearing silk veshtis for the first time. You can see it on their faces, the happiness of stepping into a new culture, the fun of it, the feeling of belonging. That one photograph says so much about this wedding. It wasn’t just about watching traditions. It was about embracing them.

And through it all, Raji and Reece stayed exactly who they are. Warm, present, full of laughter, finding each other in the middle of the chaos and the calm.

This wasn’t a loud wedding or a quiet one. It was both. Full of colour, full of feeling, and full of small, honest moments that will keep living long after the day is over.
