Kochi Biennale - Part 1

Photographing at the Kochi Biennale wasn’t about perfect frames.

It was about walking, pausing, getting lost, and letting the work hit you before the camera did. The spaces felt raw, layered, sometimes uncomfortable and that’s what made it real.

I shot what stayed with me. The in between moments, the silences, the things you don’t immediately understand.

Grateful to be there, just observing and responding.

What a pleasure it was to reconnect with at his remarkable show “Figuring the Edge” at Ashvita, Chennai.



The last time we met was nearly a decade ago in New York — and yet, his work continues to evolve in ways that challenge and expand the way we perceive reality.

I’ve known Raghava since I was five, and it’s always inspiring to witness the fearless curiosity that defines his art.

If you’re in Chennai, this is a show you must experience — and, more importantly, one that will make you question: what is reality?
