Just got back after 3 months of backpacking across Indi

a. It had me covering more than 16396 Km going to off beat locales in Kerala, getting an almost houseboat experience for 24 rs in its backwaters, celebrating Pongal with farmers in Rural Tamilnadu, watching Kathak on rooftops as the sun went down in Delhi, -15 degree celcius temperatures in Arunachal Pradesh, Exotic food in Nagaland, Holi in Bombay and experiencing the jungles of Odisha. Alongside discovering more about myself meeting beautiful souls has been the best part of the journey. Props to them for making this impossible journey come true. Here's a chota bucket of happy memories to start with. Keep following for updates and do share if these make you happy.

Ever wanted to dance away the night under a moonlit sky?! you might just want to visit Manipur during for Thabal chongba in that case. Friends took me to one near the Ganesh temple in Imphal and I was blown away by the energy. Girls work throughout the day collecting donations from travelers to fund the Thabal Chongba and come dusk they get all decked up in pretty traditional wear for the dance. Thabal was like their social media event in years long gone by. This was society sanctioned opportunity where guys could meet girls under the moon and over a dance and find out if they liked anyone enough!
The seniors led the lines and were dressed in sarees? and the youngest kids rounding of the end of the lines.Thabal Chongba Hopping definitely something to experience!
Peppy non stop music goading the youngsters to life! some of the coolest dancers and steps these kids had! Everyone was colorfully dressed and apparently crowd control was often done by getting people of particular color dresses only in the arena! Thabal Chongba definitely a rush!
