The PhotoSage My name is Vishal Kumar. I'm a self taught photographer, I've been shooting for about 2 years, & I am utterly, hopelessly, stupidly in love with light :)

It was a cloudy, windy day, the Sun played hide and seek, and I spent a long time watching the mountains, waiting for the light to hit the right spots. I think I might call this photograph "The right light."

Ran into this Red fox while driving around in Mount Rainier National Park. It was obviously captivated by my magnetic personality, and posed amicably.

"I possess a device, in my pocket, that is capable of accessing the entirety of information known to man. I use it to look at pictures of cats and get in to arguments with strangers."

Well, here's my contribution to the ever growing cause.

The Chitradurga Fort, literally meaning 'Picturesque Fort', lives up to its name handsomely. The sheer size of the thing boggles the mind. Seven rings of the fort straddle seven different hills, some of which can be seen in this photograph. Among other things, the Fort is said to have 19 gateways, 38 posterior entrances, 35 secret entrances, four invisible passages, water tanks, storage ware-houses, pits and reservoirs. The total length of the fort walls is, wait for it... about 8 km. Hope to go back someday and see more of the fort. :)
