π- Thiania bhamoensis , not a regular one !!
Look again and you'll notice that the left leg (Right in the photo ) is missing of this spider.
Sometimes jumping spiders can lose their legs for few reasons like -
βͺοΈ Predator attacks
βͺοΈ Fight with other spiders
βͺοΈ Accidents during molting
βͺοΈ Injuries from hunting or falling.
πΊ Interestingly, juvenile spiders can regenerate legs over several molts. But adults cannot- so if an adult loses a leg, it's permanent.
