Have we forgotten what worship truly means?
What has happened to us?
Is worship merely an act performed for a moment, only to be forgotten the moment we walk away? Is it meant to leave behind suffering, neglect, and destruction? Is it meant to justify indifference toward the very world that sustains us?
When devotion ends, why does compassion end with it?
How can we seek peace while creating chaos? How can we ask for blessings while failing to preserve the beauty we’ve already been given?
Perhaps worship was never meant to be confined to ceremonies. Perhaps its true purpose was to shape the way we think, the way we live, and the way we treat every living being and every gift that makes life possible.
If our prayers leave no trace in our character, have we truly understood what they were meant to teach?
Perhaps we haven’t forgotten how to pray.
We’ve forgotten what prayer was meant to protect.
