Apex- Academy for Photographic Excellence Apex was founded in 2006 with the idea of providing photography education to both amateur and professional photographers.

Academy for Photographic Excellence is a resource center for photography offering education and infrastructural facilities to all interested members of its community. Since its inception, Apex has been offering various long & short-term courses in photography. Apex has a core and visiting faculty comprising of practitioners with years of experience. The academy is equipped with latest digital SLR

camera systems, post-production facility, darkrooms, library, studio space, and an exhibition gallery. Apex has the unique strength of being run by 2 senior Professional Photographers, Aditya Arya and Dinesh Khanna, as Consulting Directors. The academy also draws faculty from a diverse bank of academicians & professionals from the local and international photography community. Besides the Directors, there are 2 core faculty members: Amitabha Bhattacharya and Sundeep Bali.
