It was quite early in my career, the year being 2011, when as a performance art photographer, I got the fortunate opportunity to capture,
Teejan Bai, the legendary performer.

She was a storyteller whose expressions, voice, and presence brought history and tradition to life.

Through my camera lens, I saw a woman whose eyes carried decades of dedication to her art and whose smile inspired countless admirers.

Her passing is a profound loss to the world of art and culture and India.

Though she is no more but her legacy will continue to shine in every story she told, every heart she touched ... She sure did mine!

We at One Frame Story pray for her Atma Sadgati... Hari Om!
