What merely kicked off as quest to put together all the Hansarian photographers has now become a much grand platform inculcating Mobilegraphers, Semi-DSLR users and people with skills in post-processing. The initiative was taken in January ’13 with a group of 10 people, mostly being non-DSLR users but ready to work for the growth of society. It is their dedication towards the society that the platform was made ready for the fresher that were to come in the next session. A group of 10 which never went beyond mere photowalks, was raised to 25 and figured about a lot of other things that could be achieved and the session begun. Starting off the session with a great orientation programme, stepping upon the success ladder one-by-one, putting in a great deal of energy and time, going through all the difficulties in the way, trying out various genres in photography, from meetings to workshops to photowalks to capturing the events to national level trips to ending the year with a Grand Fest – PLICKTURE ’14, everything is part of this beautiful memory lane that we have built up here and are still here to create even more in the coming years expecting some great responses from the fresher’s crowd, the following session. A lot has been achieved and a bigger lot is yet to be achieved, come and take on this journey with us and explore the photographer within you meanwhile.

What do pixels bring to the table?

A community bound by light, shadows, and shared vision grounded in real friendship. It’s the balance between being part of a larger collective that pushes your creative limits and finding that core circle of friends who walk every street, critique every frame, and share every laugh along the way. We come for the craft, but we stay for the people!📸

Pixels has been so much more than just a society. It has given me some of my most precious memories, invaluable lessons, and, most importantly, some truly wonderful people. Leaving comes with a mix of emotions, but above all, there is happiness that I got the chance to be a part of this beautiful legacyand a sense of relief knowing that the people who come after us will carry it forward with the same passion, pride, and love.

When I joined PIXELS, it was about sharing a love for frames, lights, and candid moments at Hansraj... But over this past session, it became so much more than just a society of creatives with cameras and timelines, it became a home...
Serving as the Joint Secretary has been an absolute honor. From early photowalks and chaotic event coverage to late-night edit tweaks, every moment was powered by this team's energy...
To my fellow council members, thank you for being the backbone of every project. Leading alongside you made every challenge worth it... To our juniors, you are the true heartbeat of PIXELS. Watching your growth and fresh perspectives behind the lens has been the best part of this journey. Keep experimenting and telling great stories...
As I step back, I carry a gallery full of cherished memories and pride in what we built. I’m stepping down from the title, but I’ll always be around to cheer you on...
