I don’t take pictures just to post them.

I take them because I don’t trust time.

Because one day, these random moments
the blurry ones, the imperfect ones, the ones that don’t feel like much right now, will be everything.

A laugh you didn’t think twice about.
A street you’ll never walk again.
A version of you that won’t exist forever.
A conversation that meant more than you realised.
A phase of life you thought would last longer.
A stranger you would never meet again.
A place that felt like home for a while.
A night you didn’t know you’d remember.
A feeling you didn’t stop to understand.
A moment you were too busy living to notice.

And maybe that’s why I keep documenting everything.

Not for the perfect frame.
Not for the aesthetic.

But for the feeling.

Because we won’t always be this young.
We won’t always have these people, these places, these versions of ourselves.

So I shoot anyway.

Messy. Fast. Unplanned.
Just trying to hold onto something before it becomes a memory.

So take more pictures, you’ll miss this version of life one day.

I didn’t expect Sikkim to feel like this.

I thought it would be about the mountains.
The views. The kind of frames you chase as a travel photographer.

But the first thing that stayed with me… was the way everything just worked.

Clean streets that didn’t feel forced.
No chaos fighting for attention.
No noise trying to fill space.

Just… discipline.
The kind you don’t notice immediately, but you feel everywhere.

And it felt different.

Because if you’ve travelled across India, you know the rhythm.
It’s loud, alive, unpredictable.

But Sikkim doesn’t try to match that energy.
It moves on its own terms.

There’s a quiet respect here.
For nature. For people. For the space they share.

You see it in the roads.
In the way people show up.
In the way even the busiest places don’t overwhelm you.

And somewhere between the mountains, the monasteries, and roads disappearing into the fog…

you slow down too.

Not because you planned to.
But because the place doesn’t demand anything from you.

This wasn’t just travel.
This felt like slow living in motion.

A reminder that not everything has to be chaotic to feel alive.
Not everything has to be loud to matter.

Some places don’t impress you.

They quietly raise your standards.

And Sikkim… does that without even trying.

There’s a shift happening.
And I don’t think we’re talking about it enough.

Somewhere between chasing success, building a life, and trying to “figure things out,” we started postponing happiness like it was something we had to earn.

This carousel is about that shift.
From the pursuit of happiness to finding happiness in the pursuit.

About slow living in a fast world.
About presence over pressure.
About realizing that maybe the life we’re working so hard to build… is already happening.

This is not motivation.
This is not self-help.

This is just a reflection.
On growth, on time, on life, on the quiet moments we keep rushing past.

If this resonates, take a pause.
Maybe read it a little slower.

New York doesn’t slow down for anyone.

And that’s exactly why it changes you.

May 2024.
Wandering through Manhattan with a camera in my hand, chasing light between skyscrapers, documenting street photography moments, collecting frames like they meant something bigger.

NYC isn’t just a city.
It’s movement.
It’s ambition.
It’s creative chaos wrapped in concrete and skyline views.

Every subway ride felt like a transition scene.
Every golden hour between glass buildings felt cinematic.
Every block carried a different story.

Travel photography hits different when the city tests you.

New York doesn’t comfort you.
It sharpens you.
It makes you walk faster. Dream louder. Think bigger.

These aren’t just NYC photos.
They’re pieces of a visual diary.
Moments from a traveller trying to understand a city that never stops moving.

Some places are beautiful.

New York makes you feel unstoppable.

And if you’ve ever wandered these streets with a camera,
you know exactly what I mean.

I reached Udaipur with a shot list in my head.

Palaces. Lakes. Symmetry. Golden hour.

But the city didn’t move the way I planned.

It was slower. Softer. Unbothered.

The best frames weren’t the ones I chased.
They were the ones that found me when I stopped trying.

A window half open.
Light resting on old walls.
Streets that didn’t rush to impress.

Udaipur doesn’t perform for your camera.
It waits for you to slow down.

And maybe that’s what this carousel really is.

Not travel photography.
Not cinematic frames.

Just a traveller learning to let the moment happen before pressing the shutter.

Some places don’t shout for attention.
They stay quiet… and somehow stay with you.

This carousel is just slow travel, golden hour light, old streets, soft architecture, raw moments and the kind of nostalgia that feels cinematic without trying. Storytelling through photography. Frames collected while wandering. Memories shaped by stillness. A traveller chasing emotions more than destinations.

Not every journey is loud.
Some just breathe.

What a cancer hospital taught me about love.

Over the past few months at Tata Memorial Cancer Centre, I’ve witnessed something I’ll never unsee.

Cancer is ruthless.
Chemo is exhausting.
Waiting rooms are heavy.

But in the middle of illness, fear, and uncertainty, I saw the strongest version of love.

Caregivers sleeping on hospital floors.
Families memorizing medication schedules.
Husbands, wives, sons, daughters choosing to stay when it would be easier to fall apart.

This isn’t a motivational story.
It’s a real life story about resilience, hope, family strength, and unconditional love.

Because in a cancer hospital, love stops being a feeling.

It becomes a decision.
