Blink and you’ll miss it. This compact raptor’s signature “flap–flap–glide” and boldly barred underwings make it one of Asia’s most distinctive forest hunters. It relies on pure surprise, launching from hidden perches to ambush lizards, dragonflies, and small birds. A clean flight shot of this speed demon is always earned. 🌿
