You board the flight, but it feels like you’re leaving behind an entire world.

The silence, the cold, the vastness of the mountains —
they slowly remind you how small you are…
and somehow, how peaceful that can feel.

Before heading to the airport, we went back for that pizza one more time.�Because some memories deserve a proper goodbye.
And just like that,�this Winter Ladakh chapter comes to an end.
But something tells me�the mountains and I will meet again.

Sometimes the best days aren’t planned; they just unfold. No big itinerary today, just wandering through Leh ki galiyan.

Unexpected snowfall, a hot cup of coffee, and quiet moments at the monastery—there’s a magic in the stillness here. Ended the day with a pizza that (honestly) blew me away.

Locals dressed as Vishnu bhakts & Shiva bhakts. Two Rajas going head to head — and then embracing each other, letting go of every wrong. Hanuman ji blessing the celebration with pure energy. The entire valley buzzing with devotion, drama & colour all at once.

Not just a festival of colours — but a living tradition where mythology walks among you, where every ritual means something, and where the energy of the crowd gives you goosebumps you didn’t ask for.

Snow on the peaks. Baspa River in the background. And a celebration so raw, so rooted — you realise this is what festivals were always meant to feel like.
