Ranjani-Gayatri – the power sisters!

It was a memorable experience to photograph the Bolava Vitthal concert in Hyderabad, featuring the scintillating Carnatic duo, Ranjani-Gayatri. They were vibrant not just in their rendition but also in their conversations! Their unique perception towards sound, and Carnatic music as a whole, was thought-provoking for sure. They have a mesmerizing aura which reverberated the venue of Ravindra Bharati throughout their performance.

We thank Mohan Hemmadi sir of Surmandal for bringing such talented artists to the twin cities.

When Musical Legends Meet..

It was a downright previlige to capture the masterful playback singer K.J Yesudas on the eve of his live in concert in Shilpakalavedika, Hyderabad. He was ably accompanied by his son Vijay Yesudas and Singer kalpana for most of the numbers. However, the icing on the cake was with the entry of mesmerizing S. P. Balasubrahmanyam on stage and when they sang their all time hit "Singarala Pairullona" (Kaattu Kuyilu- Tamil) from Thalapathy. Here are some of the glimpses which Chitradhaama captured.

Witnessing Yesudas's sublime voice complimenting with S. P. Balasubrahmanyam's versatile voice was indeed one great moment to cherish.
